Spa Therapist / Body Worker / Reflexologist
Language Requirements: Basic English, second language an asset.
Work Description: Reptitive and physically demanding massage therapy work requiring strong attention to detail. Follow spa hygiene and safety protocols.
Some responsibilities include:
Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, joint pain and lower grade mobilizations.
Apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body
Assess clients by conducting range of motion and msucle tests and propose treatment plans
massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body
Personal sustanability: Candidates must be client focused with effective customer service skills, are a team player, reliabile, and flexible.
Specific Skills and Specializations: Well rounded knowledge and hand techniques on map defined pressure points of the foot and body to promote good health. Knowledge of body massage and foot reflexology.
